Sandra Causey is a lifelong learner and traveler. She has written for her University Newspaper, The Chanticleer, contributing articles and short stories. She has contributed to Tempo Magazine, and has had her poetry twice published in the award winning magazine Archarios.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in English and has recently returned from living in Seoul, South Korea for a year. Over the past year she has had the opportunity to visit Rome, Beijing, and spend a month in Ireland. She is continuing her studies in graduate school.
Her areas of interest are quite diverse, but she greatly enjoys folklore, folk music, and mythology, most notably in regards to the American South and the Celtic peoples of the British Isles. She also enjoys religious motifs in film, as well as multicultural literature. Her paper on Chinese symbolism was published and presented at the 2007 Big South Undergraduate Research Symposium. She also enjoys teaching, homesteading, and gardening, and studies philosophy and religion (with a distinct interest in Christian Saints and Buddhism) in her spare time.
Sandra sees the world as one giant book, and enjoys reading as much of it as she can.
