Rosanna Bonura is a freelance writer for various online publications. Her past experiences include her position as a writer and editor for a non-profit organization in Toronto, Canada. She has an Honors Degree in Communication Studies and English, and a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism. After graduating, Rosanna completed an internship at CTV, Canada’s largest private broadcaster, where she wrote scripts and pitched story ideas for Canada AM, Canada’s most-watched national morning newsmagazine. During her academic career, Rosanna wrote and produced a documentary on inner-city youth in Toronto. She also wrote and produced several news pieces on a variety of issues and had the opportunity to interview people from all walks of life. Her academic work earned her a nomination as ‘Best Writer’ at the 2007 Seneca Media Awards. Her curiosity about culture and society recently led her on a volunteer trip to Africa, an experience she credits as being most rewarding. Rosanna also writes articles for an online publication, Outsource Media, as well as several other freelance pieces. Writing has always been a part of Rosanna’s life. She began writing short stories at a young age and was also a writer and editor for her high school newspaper. Rosanna is happy to have the opportunity to share her creativity and passion for writing with Suite 101. |
