Rod Quin

Rod Quin is a freelance education consultant and writer, based in Perth, Australia. A high school English teacher for more than twenty five years, he has also worked as a curriculum writer, education policy officer, adviser to Ministers for Education, and university lecturer. Rod Quin has written over twelve textbooks for teachers and students of English, two of which were shortlisted for the Australian Awards for Excellence in Educational Publishing. During his travels to over thirty countries, he has caught scabies, fended off a room invasion by a troop of baboons, apprehended a pickpocket on the Paris Metro, been held against his will in an Italian police station and been escorted at gun point from an Asian embassy.
