Nicholas Morine, Nicholas Morine

Nicholas Morine is a student of politics, a film buff, lover of fine literature and arts, as well as a novice musician, a comic book fan, and finally a sales and fashion professional.

Having worked with Tip Top Tailors for nearly five years while attending Memorial University of Newfoundland, Nicholas was able to not only learn the ropes when it comes to making the cut in the highly competitive world of commissioned sales, but also learned a great deal about fashion and clothing from both an artistic perspective and from a practical one. He is also a Level 1 Photographer as certified by CPI Corporation, having worked for portrait studios booking a variety of formal and casual shoots.

Nicholas currently works as a Game Pro, selling video games, consoles and peripherals when not found writing about the very same!

The political arena has also been very interesting to Nicholas, as he has been a partisan member of two opposing political parties, has been involved with the youth executive of a provincial party, and has campaigned with both the provincial MLA for the riding of Kings-South, Nova Scotia and the federal MP for the riding of St. John's - East.

While attending university, Nicholas' primary focus was on literature, history, sociology, and politics - a classical education. He completed his Bachelor's degree in 2008 from Memorial University of Newfoundland, majoring in English Language and Literature with a minor in Sociology. Living in the company of Canada's finest Newfoundlanders also introduced the young man to a culture of storytelling, free-flowing rum, and a deep love of music and the omnipresent informal social gatherings known as kitchen parties.

Nicholas will be returning to St. John's in September, undertaking a Master's degree in Humanities.
