For over twenty years I have studied as a holistic health practitioner with a background in herbalism, homeopathy, eastern medicine, counseling, hypnotherapy, NLP, cognitive therapy, sound therapy, energy medicine and shamanism. I earned a degree in psychology and botany from the University of Manitoba. I have studied traditional healing and spirituality with the Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) and Lakota Sioux communities. It is with these traditions I have earned the right to carry a prayer pipe, lead sweat lodge ceremonies, and be a sun dancer. In addition to studying various forms of energy medicine, I have developed my own modality I call Divine Bridges. It is a powerful system of channeled energy that can work in group or individual sessions. My studies have included Taoism, Sufism, Buddhism, paganism, mysticism, and shamanism, and I am a practicing Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist. My publication history includes working fifteen years as a freelance photographer and writer for the magazine market. I also worked as a press photographer, during which I covered three Grey Cup Football Championships. I have written three E-books on matters of spirituality and healing that I market on my own site. I also write and distribute a quarterly Ezine related to matters of healing and spirituality. Traveling is a passion for me, and I take every opportunity to explore. I have a strong interest in eco-psychology, which is the study of how we relate to the earth and in particular, sacred sites. I am fueled by an intense hunger for learning and teaching. Some of my interests include ethnobotany, eco-psychology, transpersonal psychology, ecology, ethology, health psychology, quantum physics, organic gardening, self sufficiency and green living. Between travels I reside on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada, |
