Rebecca Robinson

Contributor

Rebecca Robinson is a Portland, Ore.-based freelance writer who has written about everything from federal forest policy to a day in the life of homeless youth. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including Willamette Week, Street Roots, Portland Sentinel, Portland Family, and the Bennington Banner.

While she has written most frequently about religion and K-12 education, Rebecca is drawn to compelling human stories regardless of topic.

Before moving to Portland to freelance nearly 18 months ago, Rebecca spent a year as a staff writer for the Bennington Banner, the daily paper for southwestern Vermont. Her work there earned her a New England Press Association Award for Best Reporting on Religious Issues.
