Rita Marshall

Trained as a journalist, I’ve written for several weekly newspapers in Perth county, including the Stratford Gazette, Your Neighbourhood Weekly and the Mitchell Advocate. I am also a copywriter for small businesses through my company, Longbow Business Solutions.

Since relocating to rural southwestern Ontario in 2006, I’ve also managed daily client caseload for a branch of the Victorian Order of Nurses, Canada’s largest charitable home and community care organization.

While still in Toronto, I performed newsroom research for the Toronto Star, Canada’s largest circulation daily newspaper, and provided HR support to the private company behind the Ontario government’s province-wide Telehealth service.
