Hayley Harrison is a 2003 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to courses in fiction and nonfiction writing, Hayley has completed coursework in arts-related areas, such as gender and political issues in Renaissance and Baroque Art, Japanese art and theatre, Modern Art, stagecraft, costume design, and architecture. She has taught university courses in art history and writing during Masters study at the University of Pittsburgh.

Prior work experience includes 10 years of retail, telemarketing, and customer service work, providing her with a broad understanding of real world markets and labor issues.
