I am a fifty-five year old grandmother who has two grandsons, aged 7 and 9 years. The boys are the lights of my life. I live in southern Ontario with my husband. Our Alaskan Malamute, Meeko, delights us with our antics and is a valued member of our family.

I love spending time with my family, taking nature hikes, reading, needlework and spending quality time with my grandsons.

My second love is writing. I have been writing personal memoirs and true experiences for many years. I have had my work published in True Story and True Life. In 1994, I was honored to have my stories, BUDDIES and DADDY'S CHAIR, included in the anthology GIFTS OF OUR FATHERS...A True Remembrance of Fathers and Grandfathers.

In 2000, my work was published in both print and online venues. Stories have appeared in "Chocolate For A Woman's Blessings," published by Simon & Schuster, as well as in "Listening To The Animals," a series published by Guideposts. The Guidepost series continued through 2001. In 2002, my work appeared in the Guidepost book, "Their Mysterious Ways."

In 2003, my writing was included in the Guidepost series, "Comfort From Beyond." Online, my work appeared at History's Women. http://www.historyswomen.com

In 2004, my writings appeared in several books of the "Comfort From Beyond" Series, published by Guideposts, as well as "Haunted Encounters: Ghost Stories From Around the World."

In 2005, my writing has appeared on the websites http://www.serenelight.org and http://www.womenwithheart.net

Online, my work has also appeared at ShoutingOut.com, Whoodoo.com, FamilyClick.com, At The Fence, On The Bright Side, Windowbox.com, PresenseSense, NoahSays iAgora, Senority UK History's Women and Weeonesmagazine.
