Lyn is a New Zealander who lives in the centre of New Zealand's Volcanic Wonderland. She has been recognised for her writing across various genres including children's literature, short stories and romantic fiction. She established a niche outdoor-interest magazine and operated this as editor publisher for seven years.
She enjoys travel, has been the owner-operator of a small bed-and-breakfast catering especially for women travellers, and loves to host visitors from other parts of the world.
Always interested in learning, Lyn holds a Diploma in Journalism and has a qualification in adult education which she is presently consolidating with training in adult literacy - an area she is passionate about. Other interests include art, reading, gardening with herbs,food and cooking, healthful living, and most recently, keeping chickens (rapidly becoming another 'passion').
As a parent and grandparent Lyn also enjoys family activities and is loving the experience of having grandchildren to add another dimension to her life.
