Christmas is Almost Here - Do I Really Care?
Christmas is only weeks away but it's hard to get excited about the festive season when it begins so early.

Lyn is a New Zealander with affiliations to Maori, the indigenous people of New Zealand (Aotearoa). She enjoys travel, has been the owner-operator of a small bed-and-breakfast catering especially for women travellers, and loves to host visitors from other parts of the world.
Lyn has been recognised for her writing across various genres including children's literature, short stories and romantic fiction. She established a niche outdoor-interest magazine and operated this as editor-publisher for seven years before selling the publication to a larger publishing company.
Always interested in learning, Lyn holds a Diploma in Journalism and has a qualification in adult education which she is presently consolidating with training in adult literacy - an area she is passionate about. Other interests include art, reading, gardening with herbs, healthful living, and most recently, keeping chickens (rapidly becoming another 'passion').
As a parent and grandparent Lyn also enjoys family activities and is loving the experience of having grandchildren to add another dimension to her life.
