Rachel, born in England has lived in Spain since 1996. She writes mainly about Spain and contributes regularly to The European for International Living. She enjoys writing, sharing her explorations of Spain and taking a few photos along the way.

She gives English lessons to Spanish children and although she prefers writing to teaching she says it doesn't help improve her spoken Spanish, so she is trying to create a balance between the two. Her desire is to travel and explore all of Spain, and its islands while researching the 91 Paradors en route.

Rachel is the Jaen Regional Editor for the new and growing nativespain.com and contributes to various travel-related websites. She has won third-prize in the infohub Travel Writing competition and been shortlisted in a children's story competition.

Her current passion is working on a website about Andalucia and two blogs - Luxury Spain Travel and Luxury UK Travel.
