I am a preschool teacher, fiber artist, medieval re-creationist, and general student of life. I have a degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Early Childhood development. I have been teaching preschool since 2000. Some of my profesional interests include social and emotional development and the Regio Emilia approach. In my spare time I pursue a variety of hobbies. I am a fiber artist working mainly in felt and historical costuming, but I also dabble in spinning, weaving, knitting, embroidery and whatever else interests me. I belong to the Society for Creative Anachronism, a group dedicated to re-creating the arts and skills of the pre 17Th century world. |
