Paul Travers - Profile

Paul Travers, Paul Travers

Paul Travers is a full-time journalist and writer. He has had work published as far afield as Musikexpress in Germany and Smash Hits Australia but has written mainly for Kerrang! - the UK's leading rock magazine and the world's biggest selling music weekly - for more years than he cares to remember. In his time there he's interviewed some of the biggest names in both mainstream and underground music, hooking up with Iron Maiden in Seattle, Green Day in Canada and Napalm Death in a northern English brewery (free beers included). He's also been reprimanded by Alice Cooper and puked on by Bring Me The Horizon, has asked Muse frontman Matt Bellamy if the singer is 'a nutter' and been threatened by a 'tired and emotional' Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance.

The money was better when he used to clean windows for a living but at least he never knows what each week will bring.
