I obtained a Master degree and a PhD in theoretical particle physics at Cornell University. This was followed by a postdoctoral research position at McGill University (Montreal). For the last 4 years I have been teaching Physics at a small college. My early research dealt with the properties of positronium, an exotic atom made of matter (an electron) and antimatter (an "anti-electron" or positron). I am now working on superstring theory.
I had the opportunity of doing research for a summer at Fermilab (a particle accelerator near Chicago) and at CERN (another accelerator (near Geneva). I was a technical adviser for the French translation of Brian Greene's book, "The Elegant Universe". I am now writing an introductory book on the concepts of quantum physics.
