Accountant, carer, parent and freelance writer are just some of my job titles. I live in Huddersfield, in the North of England, with my wife and daughter. My interests include sport, genealogy, stamp collecting and travel. My writing is mainly inspired by these interests, with an emphasis on history and travel.
My wife, Denise, and I founded and designed the UK Genealogy website, which was widely acclaimed in the genealogy press, on both sides of the Atlantic. I designed the layout, researched the content and edited the newsletter.
I am currently writing a History of Farsley Celtic Football Club and planning a series of short guide books, including Yorkshire Farm Shopping and Britain's Heritage Railways.
