The quintessential life-long student, I have spent far more years of my life in school than out of school and have been involved in more majors than I can count on one hand. Life has always been about learning for me, and, while I now proudly hold that coveted graduate degree in my hand, I know that my days of learning are far from over.
A little about me...I had always planned on becoming a teacher; I even have the degree and license to prove it. Still, here I am, working as a technical writer and frightened to death of actually entering a classroom. Somehow, the thought of laying my dreams and aspirations in front of hundreds of bored, angry high school students is a little too much for me right now.
Writing has always been a comfort activity for me, and now it has become an activity of financial support, as well. As a young woman of 23, I know that my future is wide open with possibilities and potential greatness. As for now, I am a working writer with more than a passing interest in fashion and an increasing knowledge of health topics. I may teach someday, I may find the cure for cancer, I may win the Nobel Peace Prize, and I most certainly will pour my heart and soul into that novel that is burgeoning within me.
Concerning my professional information, I have a B.A. in History, an M.Ed. in Education, and approximately 18 months of professional writing experience in swimwear fashion and water technology. And that, stated simply, is a life in a nutshell.
