<p>Hello! I’m a young 30-something woman, recently married going to school full-time, again, and discovering the joys of living in to Northern California.</p>
<p>I have been a Green Party member since 1995 and was fairly active for some time at the local level, county level and state level Green Party, organizing, attending meetings and participating as a voting member.</p>
<p>I feel very strongly for the values and ideas behind the Green Party and hope to help bring this political party forward as a mechanism for changing the political structure and landscape. To that end I would like to see the general public at large participating as citizens, especially voting. We need to increase the small percentage of the voting population we have now. Look, if everyone voted, we could do away with the two-party system, and actually have lively political discussions, instead of our playing "look-for-the-blunder" game.</p>
<p>I’m an avid recycler and if you are throwing away everything, stop! Start separating your trash! It is the easiest step to help the environment and reduce our demand on new un-sustainable resources.</p>
<p>In addition to my green passion, I’m a student, constantly learning and, hopefully, growing. I’m an avid reader, devouring books by the handful. Finally, my life goal is to become a full-time writer.</p>
