Patrick Gordon is an award-winning journalist based in suburban Philadelphia.
His works as a baseball writer have appeared in dozens of newspapers and magazines, including Baseball America, Sports Collectors Monthly, the Philadelphia Daily News, the Philadelphia Bulletin, CBSsportsline.com, and various other media outlets. He also has covered urban affairs and politics for local news publications.
Outside of his freelancing duties, Patrick works as Managing Editor of the Philadelphia Baseball Review, a website/publication that covers the sport at all levels within Philadelphia. He has interviewed dozens of baseball stars, covered hundreds of games (high school to MLB) and has published various features, with his most recent focusing on several Philadelphia Negro ballplayers, including Mahlon Duckett and Stanley Glenn.
Patrick's recent freelance assignments included the demolition and sale of Yankee Stadium and Shea Stadium memorabilia, Alex Rodriguez's steroid use and how it impacted the collectibles industry, and the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
Patrick currently resides in Horsham where he freelances for several local and national sports publications. He earned his BA in journalism from Temple University and is pursuing a Master's degree in journalism, also from Temple.
