Sara E. Lewis is a writer and publications consultant. As a freelancer, she writes and produces marketing materials and especially enjoys researching and writing for feature articles and books. Previously, she worked as a director of communications, marketing manager, new product developer, marketing copywriter, and museum curator.
In 1984, she earned an M.B.A. from the College of William and Mary. She holds an M.A. in Art History with emphasis in museum studies from Virginia Commonwealth University and a B.A. in History and Fine Arts from the College of William and Mary.
In 2003, she published her first novel, Waterfront Property. She enjoys nature and kayaking, and was able to combine these interests in a 2004 novella, Up a Creek. She has written three books about Tidewater Virginia counties for the Arcadia Publishing Images of America series: Gloucester County (July 2006), Mathews County (November 2007), and James City County (March 2008).
