Dario Borghino, b. 1987, is a young Italian freelance writer, translator, and computer programmer. After finding out about his love for the worlds of science and technology at an early age, he graduated from Liceo Scientifico Baldessano-Roccati, Carmagnola, while working as a freelance technical translator. He is currently a graduate student in Computer Engineering at Turin's Polytechnic, Italy, and is involved in different projects involving the Open Source Software movement. In particular, he is the creator and organizer of Premio Oltrecosmo, a science fiction literary contest for short stories in Italian, in collaboration with the OpenOffice.org Software Community. He has been featured on Radio Montecarlo and ICT news site Punto Informatico. He started writing technical and informative articles on science and technology related topics in late December 2007 (in English since February 2008) and his articles have already been published and/or are being sold on dedicated sites such as Ezinearticles.com, Constant-content.com, and Dailyarticle.com.
