Make the Most of Autumn: A Guide for Tweens
Autumn is a great time of the year. Leaves turn bright colors, recipes fill a house with sweet smells, and the weather is just right for enjoying the outdoors. Here are some "Suite" ideas for tweens this autumn!

Denise has been writing for Suite101 for many years, and enjoys sharing her experiences and knowledge with readers. Her main occupation at the moment is that of a medical transcriptionist, which she has been doing for a total of 8 years.
Denise is also a homeschooling mom of 9 years. She has 3 boys, the oldest in high school, the others in middle school. She has taught elective courses for a local homeschool co-op, as well as organized many a fun field trip for over 120 children throughout Mechanicsville, VA.
In addition, Denise has been a Sunday School teacher for 15 years. In this time she has taught children from preschool through 5th grade. She edits a children's newsletter that goes out to over 200 children in her church four times a year. She also enjoys helping to plan fun family events within her church, as well as with outreach programs in her community.
