Robert was raised in Brewster, New York and now resides on Long Island where he works as a waiter in an Italian restaurant while writing on the side. In the fall he will be attending Empire State College and majoring in Cinema/Cultural Studies and Literature.

Fiercely interested in fantasy and storytelling since he was young, Robert first considered pursuing writing after attended two consecutive Young Writers Conferences at Columbia University. Following, he was made Art and Associate Editor of his High School Literary Magazine, Ursus. Upon graduating,he attended SUNY New Paltz for three years, majoring in Secondary Education, but decided to break from the practical and transfer to New York University. He was accepted at the Tisch School of the Arts and soon took on a double-major in Dramatic Writing and American/English Literature. After two years matriculation he was forced to leave for financial reasons.

Hobbies and interests include: FANTASY, FILM, PHILOSOPHY, HISTORY, MYTH, WINE, MARTIAL ARTS, THE ENVIRONMENT, GREENTECH, ART and VOLUNTEER WORK. He is a member of GLAAD and recently participated in the 2008 AIDS Walk in New York City, where he raised $700 for AIDS research.
