Brian CarpenterSuite101 Member Hello, suite 101 members. I am a 40 year old man presently employed by General Motors, who has had a lifelong interest in military history. I have done some college work on the subject, and for about 5 years now have been working on and off researching a book I plan to write someday on the Macedonian army under Alexander the Great. I am interested in many subjects, including cryptozoology, chess, and almost all wargames. My house is full of books of many different subjects. I always have an interest in questioning conventional wisdom. I have few hobbies, other than reading, gaming, and of course, computers and the net. I do like to travel, especially to Canada, where I hope to live someday. I also like to write. My main interest, however, is the wonderful woman who shares all my hopes and joys- my wife Josette. I have found many answers in all the reading and searching I have done over the years; but she remains my proof that dreams come true. I love her more every day, and hope that all Suite 101 readers find the kind of happiness we have found. |
