Nicole Tanner

Nicole Tanner is a freelance journalist, fiction writer and avid gamer. She's worked in the videogame industry, both as a reporter and public relations professional, for more than six years. She's a regular contributor for Green Pixels, an IGN website aimed at the mainstream market, and a Remote Guide for Mahalo.com, creating pages on videogames.

Nicole's previous positions include director of public relations and marketing for Foundation 9 Entertainment, associate art director and writer for GameNOW magazine, and contributor to Electronic Gaming Monthly, GMR and GameGal.com

Nicole enjoys all manner of videogames, from casual online games to hardcore action games. Some of her favorites are Bioshock, Portal, Rock Band, Animal Crossing, the Harvest Moon series and Diner Dash. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her game programmer husband and their three beagle children. She typicaly spends her weekends playing Rock Band or Left 4 Dead with her husband.
