<p>I am a copy editor and page designer at a newspaper in Arkansas. I love to read anything I can get my hands on, and to write about what I read as well as writing fiction and poetry. I love to cook whenever I have time and enjoy trying new cuisines and techniques. My dream job is to write cookbooks or work in a test kitchen. I've recently taken up gardening as well, which is proving to be a grand adventure and gives me lots of time to think about writing and cooking all the great things in the garden. I have a husband and two cats. I am a total news junkie and love all sorts of news Web sites, as well as cooking sites like foodtv.com and epicurious.com. I'm always looking for new Web sites with interesting recipes to try. I'm also a library junkie and love checking out cookbooks and reading them like other people read novels. I'm also on a mission to read all the books that have won Pulitzer Prizes.</p>
