Sharon E. Williams is a freelance writer currently residing in Northwest Indiana. Sharon was editor/managing editor of Filmfax Magazine from its inception in 1986 to 1993 and her articles and interviews on film, television and pop culture have also appeared in Fantastic Films, Monster, Cinefantastique, Primetime (a Canadian Cable guide), Video Marketplace, and Video Times. Some of Sharon's interviews were conducted with Hollywood notables such as actors Tom Skerrit, Melanie Griffith, Talia Shire, Bruno Kirby and Russ Tamblyn, directors Richard Donner and Tobe Hooper, special effects wizard Stan Winston and popular early television personality, Soupy Sales, to name a few.
In addition to entertainment, Sharon enjoys writing about history, cooking, gardening and landscaping. She participated in the Indiana Master Gardener Program and worked as a gardener for six years. Her work as a part time academic researcher helping to develop courses in leadership, career choice and personal fulfillment also provides extensive writing opportunities. In her spare time, Sharon attends DePaul University where she is studying writing and Chicago history and is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
