My Nguyen is a Senior in Creative Writing at the University of California, Riverside. She was a C3 Intern in the College of Computing at UC Riverside and was the Associate Editor of the CHASS (College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences) Newsletter. Also at UC Riverside, she served as a Research Assistant to the Tomás Rivera Endowed Chair in the Department of Creative Writing.
My is also a co-founder and editor of Verbal Graffiti Magazine, a grant winning online spoken word magazine. In addition to contributing to suite101, My currently also a contributor to DeQ Magazine, the World's FIRST true Underground music, fashion, and art magazine, writing several reviews of CDs, DVDs, venues and underground literature. She is also a contributing writer for Performer Magazine, churning out multiple reviews for indie music for the publication and going out to see live shows.
Although, her articles span from rock venues to green architecture, by far her greatest passion is music which is evident in her contributions in DeQ Magazine. She hopes to bring much more music and more of her opinions to suite101.
