Hi, there, my name is Tom Williams.

Last year, I obtained a bachelor of arts degree from Roehampton University, achieving a 2:1 grade in creative writing and journalism, focusing in horror fiction, sci-fi, fantasy and music, film and political journalism.

Following my degree, I undertook an internship at Big Cheese Magazine (an alternative music publication), which allowed me to exercise my journalistic and editorial abilities in practice. Since my time working at Big Cheese, I have become a regular contributor to the magazine, writing news, cd and live reviews and feature articles (including December's cover feature), conducting band interviews (from Foo Fighters to Hawthorn Heights) and live photography and working both in-house and out in an editorial role. Alongside alternative music (punk, ska, metal etc.) the magazine also focusing on a number of other topics such as fashion, film, literature and graphic illustration.

In addition, i am also a regular contributor to Gorezone Magazine (a horror genre publication) with duties similar to those mentioned above, including: television, film and gaming feature writing, reviewing, research, interviews (cast and crew), picture and photo sourcing.

I am an avid fiction writer and reader, focusing on children's, horror, sci-fi and fantasy fiction and am currently writing a series of short horror stories and a children's fantasy trilogy. I have a passion for the graphic arts, a encyclopaedic knowledge of comics and have experience working in the comic book industry. I also recently tried my hand at my own photo-realist comic series taking inspiration from film noir, Millar and Moore. In result, i wrote, photographed, illustrated, inked, edited and finally completed three self published issues of the series

My expertise lies predominantly in film, television, music and literary journalism but am avid to expand these to more diverse fields.
