Mike Peters has always considered himself a film buff. Obsessed with the nature of film, he has strived to learn every facet of the medium. From histories and theories to documentary and production, Mike has attempted to study it all. Since graduating from Brock University in 2003 with an honors BA in Film and Communications, Mike has maintained a hectic schedule. He has written on topics ranging from addictions, wine, video games, film culture and film criticism for many on-line based magazines. Mike has also written a story based on his uncle's horrendous endeavors during World War II which was published in his hometown's newspaper, the St. Catharines Standard, in November, 2005. In June of 2007, Mike worked as a key grip (lighting assistant) on the feature film entitled, "A Life Less Gone" set for release in 2008. Interested in the world around him, nothing excites Mike more than the possibility of sharing his thoughts through writing. *Mike is also the head columnist for wildsound.ca where he reviews classic films |
