The first on-camera interview I did was with Jodie Foster and it has been all fun and games since then. Mel Gibson, Gwyneth Paltrow, John Travolta, Shia LeBeouf, Al Pacino and Salma Hayek have all endured my less than piercing questions. The one director that all the film critics approach with near reverence is John Sayles. If you haven't seen Limbo or Lone Star - do it now. He knows more about writing, directing and editing than can be explained in a Masters of film program. And John loves film as much as those of us sitting in the dark hoping to be transported to a different time, place and person.
