Christy Matte is a freelance writer, consultant and small business owner. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a Master’s degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University. She has experience in grant writing, human resources, team building and conflict resolution, event planning, project management, curriculum development and employee training and support. She has taught computer classes to adults and children around the world and enjoys working with young people. Although she transitioned out of the traditional working world in 2005, she has continued to grow and learn as an independent consultant. When not working, Christy enjoys reading everything she can, bad reality TV, paper crafts and being a mom to her two young kids. She likes spontaneous road trips and exploring new places. A fan of travel, Christy has journeyed extensively in the United States, as well as portions of Europe, Asia and Australia. She's also been known to play video games with her husband when time allows. She is a long-time techie and loves new technology and gadgets.
