As a certified yoga teacher, I enjoy freelancing for various yoga magazines in different countries. In my main profession, I work as a teacher for children with special needs in Bonn, Germany. On several trips to India, I started digging into its treasure chest of spirituality and have kept digging ever since, practicing yoga, meditation and mantra chanting as well as studying the teachings of Vedanta and contemporary spiritual teachers.

In recent years, however, I have mainly preoccupied myself with the even more fascinating subject of changing diapers and chasing after my two-year-old on various playgrounds in the neighborhood, where I usually manage to prevent the worst. In between, I usually manage to squeeze in an article or two for suite101, mostly about meditation and Indian spirituality. I also write for the German version of this online magazine.
