Susan Henderson

Susan Henderson has worked as administrative assistant to the Purdy Elementary School principal for the past 12 years. She has also served as youth coordinator for her church, taught Sunday school and volunteered for various outreach programs relating to youth in the community. Her work with kids of all ages provides most of the inspiration for her writing.

Susan's devotional book for people who work with children, And a Little Child Shall Lead Them, was published by Randall House Publications in 1999. She has also authored several curriculum guides designed for those who work with teens, also published by Randall House Publications. Susan frequently writes articles for One Magazine, headquartered in Nashville, TN. One of her articles recently won third place in the Evangelical Press Association devotional article category.

In her spare time Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, ice skating (in winter!), snorkeling (in summer!) and enveloping herself in a wide array of music.
