Erica is a just beginning her writing career, though she has been expressing herself through the written word for about 11 years. Her greatest and longest love affair has been with poetry and she loves to attend spoken word events.
She is fondly referred to by her friends as Miss Rikki-a psuedonym she writes under as well. Her list of interests include reading, hip hop and r&b music, and being a new mom. She is also somewhat of a closet social activist. Having worked closely with the ACLU of Mississippi's Reproductive Freedom Project for a couple of years, she is very concerned with women's reproductive rights.
