Jitendra Rathod holds a Master's Degree in Microbiology and is a Lecturer based in Baramati (District Pune), Maharashtra, India. He has been teaching Microbiology and allied subjects to undergraduate students for the past six years. His subject of interest is Immunology. He is also interested in Allergies since he himself is a sufferer!
Coming from an academically-inclined family, he decided to pursue a job that he had an aptitude for - teaching. Before joining as a full-time Lecturer, he also worked as a Research Student working in the area of Anaerobic Treatment for Waste Degradation at Agharkar Research Institute, Pune.
During his school and college days, Jitendra was good at dramatics and elocution and has won many awards. He was also chosen the Head Boy of his school.
At his present workplace, he has been given the responsibility of Coordinating the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the College. He has been the Master of Ceremonies for various functions where dignitaries including the past President of the Republic of India, Central and State Ministers, Members of Parliament and Industrialists have graced the occasion.
Jitendra loves to write and is trying for a career shift from Lecturer in Microbiology to writer and trainer in the English Language. He is also pursuing his Master's Degree in English Literature.
