Michael Abenante

Michael is new to the realm of freelance writing but is anxious to turn his passion into his career, while pursuing a degree in Media Studies and Journalism in New York City and working full-time.

As a passionate and opinionated sports fan, Michael feels extremely comfortable commenting on the state of professional sports in the U.S., specifically the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and Ultimate Fighting Championships, and the athletes that participate in them.

Michael also expects to contribute his perspective on topics in the areas of music, movies, TV and video games while a part of the suite101 team. He has also become a regular contributor to bleacherreport.com and has hopes of joining other community sites in hopes of broadening his readership and honing his craft.

Michael was born in Brooklyn, New York and currently resides in nearby Staten Island, New York. He lives with his beautiful fiancee Jacqueline, who inspires him to pursue his dreams.
