I’m currently working as a licensed physical therapist assistant, medical educator and co-owner for Blaine Edwards. I started my college adventure taking courses in business and marketing and quickly realized that my true passion was health care.
I currently have an Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Muskingum College, a degree in Medical Assisting from American School of Technology and a certification in weight training.
I have worked in healthcare for over 18 years working with a variety of patients with various disabilities including strokes, amputees, spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries. I have worked in various healthcare settings including hospitals, physician’s offices, outpatient, nursing homes and home health care. I also have been a guest speaker at various community health fairs, guest lecturer for the physical therapy assistant program at Muskingum College and a volunteer speaker for the Kate Payne Osteoporosis support group.
Although my first love is healthcare, I have ventured into the world of business and marketing. I spent several years working as a home business consultant, internet marketing specialist and owned and operated two online stores. Eventually these experiences brought me to start my own home based business called Blaine Edwards Home Jewelry Sales.
On a personal note, I am a wife and mother of two children. I enjoy reading, gardening, crafting, home decorating and poker. I have traveled around the county playing in many poker tournaments. My favorite poker game is Texas Hold-em but I have also played Omaha and Stud.
