I am a BA (Hons) Journalism and English Literature student at the University of Portsmouth (U.K). As part of my degree programme I will soon be sitting exams in News Writing, (U.K) Politics, (U.K) Media Law and Shorthand, all of which are fully accredited by Britain's National Council for the Training of Journalists.
In addition to having had work published by The Western Gazette and the University of Portsmouth publication ‘Pugwash Magazine’, I am also an ex-writer for the online music magazine www.rocklouder.co.uk, for whom I have written extensively.
Among my particular academic interests are politics, economics and literary philosophy. I am currently writing a dissertation on the mass media’s role in perpetuating the British public’s current moral panic surrounding international terrorism.
