Marisa Finetti

Marisa Finetti is a freelance writer based in Las Vegas, NV. She writes for numerous city and regional magazines primarily on the topics of shopping/fashion, travel and spas. She has been a freelance shopping editor for Las Vegas' premier in-room travel magazine, LVM (Las Vegas Magazine). She has also written numerous articles on spas, health and beauty for VEGAS Magazine, Las Vegas Life and LVM.

Prior to becoming a freelance writer, Marisa worked in the area of public relations for 10 years at such companies as Paramount Pictures, Rogers & Cowan Public Relations and Canine Companions for Independence.

Writing has been a natural way of expression for Marisa since she was young girl. She still attributes her best and most memorable work to a 1000-word creative writing assignment she wrote when she was 14. It was about a her hair-raising experience riding a mule, named Shirley, down the majestic Grand Canyon - her first travel piece.
