Marie Lawrence is a conservation biologist with more than a decade of experience working to preserve wildlife and wilderness. She has participated in expeditions to Africa and South America with the American Museum of Natural History and has worked to conserve the majestic places and unique creatures of America’s national parks. Marie also has two decades of personal and professional experience hiking, backpacking and camping in the United States and abroad. Marie has a dual bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from Queens College, a branch of the City University of New York, where she graduated cum laude, with honors in both subjects. |
