Hi! My name is Pattie Simone. Today I make my living as a Business Success Speaker, Writer and Mentor. It wasn't always like this. My new path started in 1988, when I was pregnant with my second child - and miserable. Why was I so unhappy? Well - aside from the hormone imbalance, I was sick of commuting into the city. More than that, I was unfulfilled in my job working in production. I yearned to be more creative, to have my bosses see the potential that I knew was there. I wanted to be in a position to make decisions. Every day on the long bus ride into Manhattan I dreamed of another life - one that would give me the chance to prove myself.
After my maternity leave was over, I found myself back at my desk doing the same predictable tasks. This time, though, something was different. Suddenly I had the courage to do more than imagine a new destiny.
With grand visions of creative freedom and cash registers ringing, my sister-in-law and I opened a cozy little retail shop (several weeks after she gave birth to her first child!) We did a lot right by accident (getting a logo professionally designed, establishing a unique brand, merchandising, etc.) and a lot wrong by design ( we never went to one networking event - YIKES!)
We closed the store after 7 years ( and 2 more babies). I went on to work for 2 small family-owned companies, where I perfected my own sales system. I reaped millions of dollars in new revenues before the light went off - that I could help LOTS of newbies and current entrepreneurs in my own business, while doing the most important job I will ever have - being an involved mom to my three kids!
So - that's what I do today! I help people all over the country ( and now in Denmark too) between attending school plays and visiting my three college students. I share the lessons I learned in-the-trenches, so others can make the most of their time and money!
My thrifty, results-oriented approach and imaginative solutions in branding, strategy, positioning, marketing, image management, client services, pricing and messaging have generated measurable results, and major KA-CHINGS for countless entrepreneurs, executives & companies!
