Marcelle Greene Edins

Marcelle Greene Edins is in the process of leaving the rat-race and plans to focus on her work as a writer. She is also excited to be able to spend more time at home with her children.

She has worked for many years as a secondary school teacher, and an attorney in Texas. Marcelle is proud of her role and accomplishments as an attorney, but has always considered herself more of an educator at heart. She is very passionate about issues surrounding children, family, health and nutrition, education and the elderly. On the lighter side, she loves to cook, bake, garden, read, travel, and spend time outdoors.

She works from home as a freelance writer. She is also working on her first children's fiction novel. She has written other works for children that are awaiting publication.

Marcelle is also a devoted wife and mother. She lives in the Texas Hill Country with her husband and their two young children.

She is thrilled to be a contributing writer for Suite101.
