I am a freelance writer and a mom, and enjoy both jobs immensely.
I have been obsessed with all things Greek, Roman, and Egyptian since my first trip to an art museum when I was 7.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Classical Studies from the University of Florida, where my studies and research emphasized Classical Archaeology (particularly Athens and Pompeii) and Women in Antiquity. I also hold a Master's Degree from Florida State University in Library and Information Sciences. It is for these reasons that no one can beat me in Trivial Pursuit or Jeopardy!
Besides loving all things ancient, I love to cook, read, and spend as much time outdoors as possible. This includes hiking the prairies and forests near where I live, playing various sports with my kids, and attempting to grow tomatoes.
