Born and raised in rough-and-tumble Butte, Montana, Maleesha escaped the doldrums of small town life by enlisting in the Marine Corps. It was in the military where Maleesha first enjoyed the buzz of technology, and she has never looked back. At the end of her enlistment, she accepted a job in Washington D.C. working with a major technology consulting firm. She currently lives in high in the Colorado Rockies with her husband and two children.

Maleesha writes at Binary Trash in her free time. She is a member of, and is the webmaster for Pikes Peak Writers.

When she's not working or writing, Maleesha chases her feisty kids around her home, demanding that they return her laptop right now.
