I'm a 37 year old mom and writer, an American living in Canada, a cat lover, coffee drinker and voracious reader.
I am currently working on freelance articles, publishing my own zine, and I've been published at hipMama, She's Got Something to Say, and a few small press/low circulation zines and local newsletters.
I love books, and I'm a magazine junkie -- my favorites are Bitch, Bust, UTNE Reader, This Magazine, Fabula, Moxie, Sierra, Shape, RAG and Clamor. Of course I also read several zines per month...
When not at the computer or reading, I enjoy riding my bike, swimming, camping, watching football, and mostly just spending time with my daughter -- taking her to museums, the library, on road trips, working on art projects, going ice-skating, etc.
I've been using the internet since early 1994 and have been very interested and fascinated with the whole thing.
