My educational background includes a BA in Anthropology and Spanish, and a college diploma in Photojournalism.
Recently, I've been working freelance contributing writing and photography to the online world. A few years ago,I had the opportunity to work overseas, in Costa Rica, for a local NGO called Defense for Children International. I was in charge of publishing their website, while immersing in local culture, and photographing and writing about the important projects this organization does to help children in Costa Rica. I was also able to travel to other countries in Latin America like Panama, Colombia, Argentina. I have also worked as reporter/photographer in Ottawa contributing news and events to a local publication.
I am very passionate about travel and culture along with green living and human rights. I look forward to covering articles in these interesting topics for suite 101.
