Lisa Manfield is a Vancouver-based editor, writer and publishing consultant. She has worked in print and online publishing for more than 12 years. Currently the marketing coordinator at The Tyee, she has also been Associate Editor at CGA Magazine and editor of REALM Magazine, a Canadian publication about careers and entrepreneurship.
Lisa also does freelancing and consulting through her company, Ahnsu Consulting Group, and works primarily with magazines and non-profit groups to develop content, marketing collateral, courseware and communications materials. Some of her recent clients have included CBC TV, the Knowledge Network, and WorkSafe BC. She has also been a contributing editor with Backbone Magazine since 2001.
Lisa is a senior member of the editorial collective that publishes Room of One’s Own, Canada’s oldest literary journal by and for women, and recently edited its 30th anniversary issue. She has also served as the vice-president of the BC Association of Magazine Publishers.
