Lisa Konkel - Profile
Lisa Konkel is a writer, photographer and adventurer. She received a degree in Public Communications and concentrated in Political Science at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. She holds a special interest in the sustainable development of the global south and how the media may be used as a tool to assist in development.
Her adventurous spirit has led her to spend time vagabonding through Europe living out of a backpack with a minimal budget and briefly lived in northeastern Brazil as a way to witness the development she had read about in books.
Along with writing and continuing to study political science, her other interests include cooking, studying languages, snowboarding, and traveling to observe and understand different cultures.
