After exploring four different academic fields in her search for the perfect major, Megan attained her B.A. with a major in English and minors in Classical Studies and Music. Her undergraduate career was marked by a number of scholarships and prizes, culminating in both the President's Medal and the Faculty of Arts Prize at her convocation. Megan matriculated at the University of Victoria, BC, in 2007, where she continues graduate studies in English while simultaneously pursuing studies toward an Associate's degree in Music Composition/Theory.
After completing her B.A., Megan began writing freelance articles for the alumni magazine (The Luther Story) of her alma mater, Luther College. Since then, she has expanded into creative writing, and her poetry has been published in Grain Magazine.
