Recent Blog PostPlagiarism and Student Responsibility
A Notre Dame professor recently spoke to students about the problem of plagiarism. What she said was surprising and insightful.
Kari Lomanno is a high school English teacher and mother of two children ages 7 and 5. She lives in Chesapeake, Virginia with her husband of 12 years, who is a musician and stay-at-home dad. Kari is a former journalist with more than 10 years of professional writing experience. She has won five Virginia Press Association awards for her writing, including first-place awards for critical writing. She has a master's degree in English from Old Dominion University and has taught college English courses on an adjunct basis. In her spare time (what little there is), Kari enjoys blogging, reading children's books and teen fiction, spending time with her family, and writing. She is currently pursuing an endorsement in elementary education so she can work with younger students. Have you ever wondered if working from home is a good choice for you? Check out her free online course on telecommuting at Suite101. |
